A native of Orange, Texas, and resident of Prairieville, Connie L. Hughes passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the age of 72. She loved her Lord and husband dearly. She is survived by husband of 35 years, Ralph "Sonny" J. Hughes; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Hughes Stuckey and Parrish; son, Richard D. Hughes; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jim Glass of Orange,Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Edwin E. Lounsberry; mother, Louise A. Winn. There will be a memorial service at Central Baptist Church, 17017 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Dr. B.G.
