Corey Noel Gautreaux

GONZALES – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Corey Noel Gautreaux, age 2, at 12:00 pm Monday, April 21, 2014 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Trey Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at St. George Mausoleum and conclude with a gathering of family and friends at St. Jude the Apostle Church ParishHall. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday at Ourso Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Monday morning at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church from 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm. Corey passed away at 8:34 am on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She is survived by her parents, Danielle Glenn Gautreaux and Evan Jude Gautreaux; brother, Porter Nicholas Gautreaux; grandparents, Patty and Bryan Glenn, Camile and Stella Gautreaux; great-grandparents, Elaine T. Glenn, Earl Wesley Spencer; aunts and uncles, Robert and Stacey Bridges and children Saundra and Micah, Bryan P. and Katie Glenn, Robbie and Angela Gautreaux, Trevor and Vanessa Gautreaux and child, Isabella. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, John Bryan Glenn, Sarah Jo Spencer, Gilbert Sr. and Ethel Gautreaux, Sidney and Elise Nicholas and uncle, Corey Michael Gautreaux. Pallbearers will be Shawn Soileau, Jeremy Bergeron, Chip Gautreaux, Bryan P. Glenn, Trevor Gautreaux, Robbie Gautreaux, Robert Bridges, Greg Dufrene and Eric Spencer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaylon Glenn, Chad Glenn, Jamie Davidson, Greg Terrebonne, Jr., Benjamin Curole, Matthew Chouest, Michael Chouest, Bobby Cutrer, Tyler Terrebonne, Andrew Solomon, David Solomon, John McDaniel, Andy Cochran, and Rino Nicholas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Corey’s honor to Broadmoor United Methodist Early Learning Center, to the Starkey Hearing Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
