Debbie Bercegeay Solar

Debbie Bercegeay Solar, a native of Prairieville, LA, former resident of McComb, MS, and resident of Sevierville, TN, died on Tuesday April 16, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 57. She was a retired billing specialist with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Baton Rouge and Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS and was currently employed at Dollywood. She is survived by her husband, Richard P. "Dickie" Solar of Sevierville, TN; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Lori Solar of Atlanta, GA and Tara Solar Landry and Cody James Landry of Lettsworth, LA; step-father Marion Crawford of Prairieville, LA; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Dwain Bercegeay and Angelia of Prairieville, LA; 1 niece- Bailey Bercegeay; 3 grandchildren, Michael Scott Toney, Jr., Erica Toney and Tuf Ryder Landry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Allen Bercegeay and Joyce Trippi Crawford. A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA 70737 on Saturday April 20, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. A memorial celebration of Debbie's life will begin at 3:30 p.m. followed by a gathering of family and friends at the conclusion of the services. The family would like to especially thank Caris Hospice, 980 East Gate Road, Sevierville, TN 37862 and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to them in memory of Mrs. Debbie so that they may assist other families in their time of need.
