Deborah Alice Marchand Ledoux, 59, of French Settlement, was unexpectedly taken from our lives and joined the angels in heaven, especially her beloved granddaughter Angel Grace on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Her greatest loves and the joy of her life were her husband, children and grandchildren. She was selflessly devoted to her family, a wonderful homemaker, great cook and a loving, supportive and nurturing mother. There was never a time that she was not willing to offer a helping hand to family and friends. Her special gift of “mothering” extended well beyond her own three children as she provided a warm and welcoming home for everyone. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children and grandchildren, as she was the “heart” of her family and insured that her family spent special times together creating wonderful memories. She was a strong, independent, caring, supportive and giving woman. She is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Mark Ledoux; three children, daughter, Aimee Wheat and husband Bradley, son, Ritchie Ledoux, and daughter, Ashley Ledoux; six grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail, Grayson and Lawson Wheat, Hunner Ledoux, and Ava DeBate, and a multitude of family and friends. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 5:00 -9:00 PM on Sunday, July 6 and on Monday, July 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement from 8:00-11:00 AM, followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. Donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement in Deborah’s memory.
Arrangements under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, LA.
