Dennis James Terrio, a resident of Prairieville, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his mother’s home. He was 61 years old and a native of Baton Rouge. Dennis attended LSU for 2 years pursuing Industrial Technology and went on to attend Rutgers University in New Jersey where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1994. He was a perfectionist who lived life with vigor and passion and was the greatest son, brother, uncle and great uncle there could be. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. His favorite past times were going to the movies, solving the newspaper puzzle page, listening to music with his mom and completing his many projects. Dennis was a very smart, compassionate, kind and giving person who would offer his help freely to anyone and would never ask or expect anything in return. He dearly loved his family, country life, nature and his pets.
