Diane Gail Gill

Diane Gail Gill, age 70, of Prairieville, Louisiana, passed away on June 4, 2025. She was born in Freeport, Texas on July 26, 1954, and throughout her life was a proud homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother.

Diane started her early years in Texas. She was a graduate of Alvin High School and would later move her family to Louisiana. She had a passion for hummingbirds, going to the camp, reading and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Gill; children, Rhonda Boyer (Tristan), Russell Parker (Angela), Miranda Gill and Micah Gill; grandchildren, Victoria Bryant (Brandon), Madison Popp (Jared), Kamie Parker (Whitney), Mason Mayers, Kaylee Parker (Tyler) and Luke Gill; great grandchildren, Kimberly, Jack, Joseph, Noelle, Riley, Atticus and sisters, Delores Nolan (Kelly) and Carol Ann Davis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Audrey Agnes Thompson and James “Buck” Frazer; stepdad, Rollins C. Thompson and siblings, Beverly Delvige and Debra Houston.

A visitation for Diane will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
