Donald "Don" Peter Mayeaux

Native of Plaucheville and resident of Prairieville passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012. He was President/Founder of A+ Corporation. Don was an ISA Lifetime Fellow, International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) Executive Committee Member, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Member, and a prolific inventor with over 35 patents. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, and resume on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Conducted by Rev. Eric Gyan. Entombment to follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery. He is survived by wife of 53 years: Emma Lee Aymond Mayeaux; daughter and son-in-law: Sheila and Harry Harvey; son and daughter-in-law: Keith and Susan Mayeaux; 2 sisters: Maxine Firmin and Elaine Lemoine; 6 grandchildren: Kristen and spouse Luke Prescott, Justin and spouse Shannon Harvey, Maria Mayeaux, Madison Mayeaux, McKenzie Mayeaux, Daniel Mayeaux; 2 great-grandchildren: Daisy Prescott, Olivia Harvey. Preceded in death by parents: Peter and Bernadette Rabalais Mayeaux; sister: Beatrice Lemoine. Pallbearers will be Justin Harvey, Harry Harvey, Luke Prescott, Keith Mayeaux, Nelson Aymond, Jay St. Amant. Honorary Pallbearer: Daniel Mayeaux.
