Donald David Saunier, 91, died peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was a hard working, fun loving man. He worked for many years in the grocery business. He loved to cut grass, play cards and just visit with the people he loved.
He is survived by his son, Darby Saunier, daughter and son in law, Jodi and Stacy Gremillion, his grandsons, Alex Gremllion (Whitnee) and Ryan, 3 great grandchildren, Wesley, Austen and Kennedy Gremillion and his twin sister, Dolly Ann Saunier Villereal, also many nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose Marie Robertson Saunier, his parents, Claude and Lola Saunier, his 3 brothers, C. J., Wilbert and Tracy Saunier and his 3 sisters, Doris Matherne, Lois Rouchon, and Adrian Estave. Funeral services will be held.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Highway, Gonzales, Louisiana, 70737. Family will continue to receive friends on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 AM. Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Don will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory.
