Drew Everette Stansell Sr. died on April 5, 2011 in Prairieville, LA. A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of St. Amant, he was 51. Aside from running his own business, Drew Stansell L.L.C., he was a rescue scuba diver and a member of the National Association of Underwater Instructors. He is survived by his wife, Sunny Lynn Sappington Stansell; mother, Tina Daniels Withington; daughter, Erin Stansell; son, Drew Stansell Jr.; two sisters, Debra and Lynda Stansell; brother, Charles Stansell; and one grandson, Ethan Stansell. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Everette Stansell and a sister, Theresa Ann Stansell. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 10, from 5 pm until 8 pm at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales. Visitation will resume on Monday, April 11 at 9 am until 10 am at Ourso Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:15 am on Monday, April 11 at Hope Haven Prairieville Cemetery.
