

Eddie J. Miller II, age 67, a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Gonzales, LA and Napoleonville, LA, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Eddie worked as a skilled pipe designer for a Hargrove Engineering and brought dedication and precision to his profession. Beyond work, he was known for his vibrant personality and his deep love for Mardi Gras—especially the joy he found riding floats during the season. Eddie also had a passion for puzzles, books, and travel, and was a true history buff who loved learning and sharing stories from the past. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Phyllis Miller; his brothers, Philip A. Miller, John D. Miller, and Philip L. Miller; his sister-in-law, Tammy A. Miller; his brother-in-law, Jimmy Johnston; and his niece, Tiffany Miller. He is survived by his loving siblings, Alison M. Johnston, Sue Miller, Jan (Tim) M. Hodge, Tom (Danise) Miller, and Michael W. Miller. Eddie was also a proud and beloved honorary father to Amanda, Chad, and Cheeseball. His warmth, humor, and love extended to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.
