Born October 25, 1935 and weighing scarcely more than two pounds, she started out life as a true miracle. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 24, 2013. She lived nearly her entire life in French Settlement. She was one of the hardest working and kindest people you would ever want to meet. She was quiet, but possessed strength beyond measure, much like her mother. She always took things in stride and never dwelled on the negative things that happen in life. She loved rocking on her front porch more than anything and many will miss seeing her there every day. She never missed her 2:00 coffee time and she loved cutting her grass. She is survived by her sister Lucille Brignac, her sister and brother-in-law Netty and Haines Acosta, and nephew Reggie Favaron, all of French Settlement; her nephew Troy Favaron and Partner Roger Ballew of Dutchtown, and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Louise Guitreau Keller and Ferdinand Louis Keller, sister Carolyn Marie Keller, niece and nephew Rhonda Ann and Mark Joseph Brignac, and brother-in-law Felix Brignac, Jr. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 9:00am until Mass of Christian Burial 11:00. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Please offer condolences to the family at www.oursofh.com
