
A native of Sunshine and resident of Sorrento, he passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at age 83. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 81 for more than 50 years. There will be a visitation at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sorrento, Thursday, Aug. 12, from 9 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in the Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery, Gonzales. Survived by his wife, Eugenia Barilleaux Arceneaux; daughters and a son-in-law, Mona Kzirian, Debbie and Glenn Snell; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Darrell Guidry, Carol and Terry MeGee, Eugenia Goodgrow; stepson and daughter-in-law, Randy and Cherriline Lawrence; sister, Nora Lee Melancon; brother, Harris Paul Arceneaux; four grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Linden Sr. and Irene LeBlanc Arceneaux; brother, Linden Arceneaux Jr.; and his first wife, Mary Ann Duplessis Arceneaux.
