

Born in Baton Rouge, LA, Emma made her home in Pride, LA, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. She dedicated many years to teaching and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved gathering around the table for board games, sharing meals with those she loved, and creating lasting memories in the kitchen with her grandchildren. Her greatest treasure was her family, and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. Her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Larry Dale Tidwell, Jr. (J.J.), David Lamar Tidwell (Margaret), and Kellye Lee Tidwell Glover (Wesley); her brother, Paul Bridges; her grandchildren, Dalen Tidwell, Sunni Tidwell, Michael Tidwell, Amy Tidwell, Emilye Tidwell Foretich (Landon), Tyler Tidwell, McKaylee Glover, and Dawson Glover; and her four great-grandchildren, Emmye Tidwell, Olive Tidwell, Jenny Boyd, and Tucker Foretich.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Tidwell, Sr.; her parents, Kelly and Nellie Mae Bridges; and her brothers, Jackie Bridges and Grover Bridges.

Emma's legacy of love, compassion, and devotion to her family will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
