Emma Lou Henry Villar passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 in Baton Rouge, La. at the age of 55 after a brief illness. Emma was an assistant manager for her sister at Grace's Lounge in St. Amant, La. for 21 years and was in the commercial painting industry for the last 10 years with Brock Construction. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 4 pm to 9 pm, with a memorial service at 7 pm. Emma Lou was a native of Morgan City, a resident of Gonzales and a former resident of Paulina. She is survived by her son: Chad Hunt of Colyell, La., 2 sisters and brothers-in-law Grace Vasseur and spouse Earl and Janell Todd and spouse David both of Gonzales, 1 grandchild, Sherri Noelle Efferson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Florence Verrett Henry, 2 brothers: Jerry Henry and Sidney Henry and 1 sister-in-law: Gladys Henry.
