Jannette and Family, We would like to express our sincere condolences to you and Ernestine's family.  She was such a sweet person.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ernestine was a very special person. I remember her with my cousins, Deeta & Jeanette growning up and  I worked with her, for a short time at the phone company. She and her sister, Jeanette, were so good to my Mom, to pick her up for bingo and be there for her.  Something our family will always remember and be thankful for. Even though we grew up mostly in Smoke Bend, our family was from the River road and there is just something special about the folks that grew up there. So very sorry for your loss.

to the best nanny in the whole wide world, i am so very blessed to have had u as my godmother. i  will miss u sooo much. may u rest in peace, give my dad(R.J.) a big kiss and hug for me.

I was a class mate of Ernestine and always enjoyed seeing her at our reunions and when I visited D'ville.  She was a fine person and was liked by everyone I knew.  I was saddened by news of her passing.

To Ernie's girls and family. August and I send our deepest condolences and our love. When Henry, Nina, and I were young we would make the trip from New Orleans every weekend to see Granpa Joe Le Blanc and all my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Those were good times and lasting memories. Ernestine was a lovely person I knew many years ago. I know she will be missed by many. The family has my condolences.

Ernie, I am without words. I am so hurt by your passing you was so good to all especially when we would come visit from New Orleans. I remember the time I drove my Maw-Maw (Aunt Katie Annino)and her sister (Aunt Esther Le Blanc) to see all of you. Well you and Aunt Lovell had the table spread with goodies, and the smoothered chicken and snap beans were always so so delicious. You had a heart of gold and I myself will miss you dearly. I would call Jeannette to find out what daughter you was staying at and I would give you a call to see how you was? You always spoke to me and filled me in on what was going on in your life. You would always say before we hung up the phone that you loved me and I would tell you the same that I loved you more:) My God we will miss you so much. There is no one who can take your place. I know your in Heaven with your loved ones and your already cooking up some good meals and watching over us like an Angel. I love my family and I certainly love all my cousins and try to stay in touch with all that I can. I am so saddened that I cannot be there, because I live so far away. May you rest in God's  forever peace! One more time, I love you Ernie!

How sad I am to hear about Ernestine, she was my mom's dearest friend for so many years. They met & worked together at "ATT," then they both retired from there. They continued there friendship for so long that I think we all thought that Ernie was part of our family !!! She always made sure that she baked cookies for mama & us, when she knew we would be at mama's. She was one of the kindest & most loving persons I've ever known!! She will be missed more than words can express, all our love & prayers go out to Diane, Sharon, Michelle & their familes.

Maw Maw Ernestine:  There will be a void when we come to visit our good friends, Michelle, Hoss, and Brett in Gonzales, LA.  Also it will not be the same without you answering Michelle's telephone and you giving me all the details of your family.  We are relieved that you are not suffering anymore and that you are in a better place but you will be deeply missed here with us on Earth.  Our condolence to the family and that y'all remember that your Mother/Sister/Maw Maw is always with you in your heart.  Please accept my apology for not being able to be there with you but I will keep you in my prayers.  God Bless!

To my sweet Ms. Ernie.  I will always cherish the time we spent together.  You were always so happy for whatever I brought over; a new recipe that I had tried, a new dessert that you really shouldn't have had, or a cake that I made that needed your approval.  I know that you are in a much better place but I am going to miss you so much.  You were my adopted "mom" by your admission and I couldn't have had a better one.  I love you so much and will miss you every single day. You will be remembered for so many things, but mainly for your family, who you loved and who loved you so much. We will all take care of each other but you will always be in our hearts.

Ernestine was one of the most loveable kind persons that I knew. She will be missed I know my mother will miss her.  Mama, Ernestine, and Ms. Betty were so cute when they were together.  I called them the Golden Girls they would get together and giggle and talk like they were still in high school.  My thoughts and prayers are out to Diane, Sharon and Michelle as well as the rest of the family.  An angel sent to heaven to watch over us.

Ernestine we will miss you, but you will be with your friends now, and please tell Wayne that I am sending you with him to take care of him.  He always thought so much of you, even in your illness you two were alike.  We will miss you, and you are no loner suffering. To the family I offer my deepest sympthy, and God has another angel in heaven, because your Mom was the kindest and most gentle person I have ever met.  We will miss her
