A loving mother and grandmother, Genie passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Summerville, SC at the age of 83. She was born in New Orleans to her parents Eugene Barilleaux and Maude Bamber on February 28, 1931. She had retired from FNBC Bank as a Bank Officer. She moved to Sorrento and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Guidry (Darrell), Carol McGee (Terry) and Eugenia Goodrow; son, Randy Lawrence (Cherriline); brother, Donald Barilleaux (Dorothy); grandchildren, Rick, Tara, Kathryn, Jason, Jamie, Randy, Rachel, Emily, Rebecca and Mary Beth; and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Joby" Arceneaux; parents; and her brother, Eugene Barilleaux. Visitation will be at St. Anne Catholic Church, Sorrento on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment to follow in Hope Haven Mausoleum, Gonzales.
