Eunice Delatte Fontenot, a resident of Whitehall, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011. She is survived by four sons, Joseph, Jeral, Roger, and Danny; three daughters, Verla, Lucinda and Regina; two sisters, Lena and Etivie "Sis"; 20 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Fontenot; four brothers, Wilson, J.A., Adam and Milton; sister, Rosalia "Tubby." Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Friday, March 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Whitehall, on Saturday, March 5, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Whitehall Community Cemetery.
