Faryl Charles Robert

Faryl was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. An avid fisherman, he loved spending time on the water, casting a line, and sharing stories with friends and family. He had a talent for crafting and building things, often working with his hands to bring his ideas to life. Faryl also enjoyed his coffee, good conversations about sports, supporting the St. Amant High School Gators, and most of all, being at the ballpark surrounded by the people and pastimes he loved. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Mona Roussel Robert; his children, Kristy Robert DeRouen(Cody), Jeremy Robert(Jennifer), and Colby Robert(Kelli); and four beloved grandchildren, Laken Robert, Olivia Robert, Abby Robert, and Eli Robert. Faryl is also survived by his sister, Phyllis Part; brothers, Kirk Robert(Susan), Dale Robert(Brenda), Rickey Robert(Rebecca), and Keeley Robert(Beth); sister-in-law, Lillie Robert; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Dorothy Robert; brother, Renell Robert; brother-in-law, John Part and sister-in-law, Karen Robert.

Services for Faryl will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 37311 LA-22, Darrow, LA. Visiting hours will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Cemetery, 604 E Hwy 30, Gonzales, LA.
