He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda Marchand Templet; daughter, Shelly Shaddinger (Scott); and son, Boyd Templet (Leslie); grandchildren, Morgan Bosarge (Blake), Macy McManus (Randall), Jordan Webb (Josh), Kace Shaddinger (Demi), Jordan Stewart (Logan), Sydney Guedry (Dayton); great-grandchildren, Sadie McManus, Blakelynn Bosarge, Lundyn Smith, Laynie Smith, Andy Shaddinger, Magdalene Webb and Cohen Stewart. He is also survived by his siblings, Russell Templet (Charlotte), Terry Templet (Charlene) and Clement Templet Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement Templet Sr. and Mabel Daigle Templet; siblings, Harvey Templet, Donald Templet and Marilyn Militello; infant daughters, Charmane Ann and Ann Marie Templet; and goddaughter, Jessica Templet.
He was the owner of Templet's Welding Service for 34 years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and being outdoors. He will be remembered for his Christmas Gumbo, his homemade biscuits and the delicious vegetables he shared with everyone.
Services for Feltus will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church 1022 N. Burnside Ave., Gonzales, La. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial to follow in St. Theresa Mausoleum. The pallbearers will be Blake Bosarge, Randall Smith, Logan Stewart, Dayton Guedry, Kace Shaddinger and Justin Templet.
