Gail Marie Lavigne

Gail M. Lavigne, a resident of Gonzales, passed away at her home surrounded by her friends and family on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the age of 65. Gail is survived by her loving husband, Winton J. "Wayne" Lavigne; daughters, Shannon Marie Lavigne and Brandi Lee Lavigne; son, Ty Michael Lavigne and wife, Shannon T. Lavigne; mother, Theresa Bourgeois; siblings, Cornell, Donnie, Barry, Brad, Tammie, and Jamie Bourgeois; grandchildren, Hayley Lavigne, Jaci Lavigne, Michael Lavigne, Brayson Coughlin, Chet Lavigne, Chase Lavigne, Kelsey Lambert; great-grandchildren, Masen Delatte, Collen Delatte, Cohen Lambert, Madison Meyers. Gail is preceded in death by her father, Paul Bourgeois and sister, Cheryl Krause. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Ourso Funeral Home from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Recitation of the rosary will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church at 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memories Cemetery in Prairieville. Chet Lavigne, Chase Lavigne, Michael Lavigne, Shane Guidry, Jamie Bourgeois, Brad Bourgeois, Donnie Bourgeios, and Barry Bourgeois will serve as pallbearers.
