George Hardin Kees Reusch, 27, of Baton Rouge, LA was taken away from our family, his tragic and untimely death was on December 21, 2015. Kees was born on September 22, 1988 in Houston, Texas. He was employed by Triad as an electrician and a trainer at Dutchtown Fitness. Kees was a graduate of Dutchtown High School, class of 2007. He also attended Southeastern University. Kees was survived by his fiancé Yasbeth Espinosa and son Roman Kees Reusch, his parents George and Beverly Reusch, his sister Avice Reusch (Jeff), his four aunts Geri Odom (Jack), “Wizzie” Liz Matthews (Randy), Jeanne Tucker (Doug) and Martha Poli Castro, his cousins Dustin Matthews (Kelly), Lynzee Matthews, Jennifer Odom Ellis, Nicole Odom (David), Sarah Odom, Victoria Odom, and Jacob Odom, cousins Brennan and Lane Matthews, Jace, Jaxon, and Jett Ellis, step grandmother Jimmie Nelle Lewis. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Hardin and Patsy Lewis, his paternal grandparents Dr. George and Ruth Reusch, and uncle Leo Lewis. Kees was a loving and dedicated father to his son. He worked every day to provide for his son and make sure that he could give him the best life possible. His canine companion, Lela, was his first child whom he spoiled rotten. Family was very important to Kees, as he was very close to his parents and loved them dearly. His greatest accomplishment was his son Roman. Kees’s passion for fitness was very much a lifestyle for him, he took pride in himself, staying fit, and eating healthy. He will forever be missed and cherished, but never forgotten. We love you Kees! Arrangements have been made for Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Fellowship Church, Prairieville, by Pastor Jonathan Ickles. The service will start at 12 pm, and a gathering for family and friends will be held before the service from 11 am until the service begins. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Association.
