She was a graduate of New York’s, The New School where she studied literature and creative writing. She spent most of her adult life in southern Florida where she worked as a freelance writer, contributing to a number of local publications. Georgia also had a life-long passion for horses, collecting magazine cut-outs of horses as a young girl and even owning an Arabian horse farm in Folsom, LA in her time before moving to Florida. The farm was a family affair with all, including her young son Erik, pitching in to ride, raise, and train the horses.
Ms. Brown is survived by her son, Erik Tadda (Robyn); brother, William “Bill” Borchardt (Lori); grandchildren, Michael Tadda (Lindsey) and Erik “Rick” Tadda Jr. (Ashley); and great grandchildren, Hollis Tadda and Spencer Tadda.”
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Elizabeth Borchardt.
