Gerald Mark James

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt Sr. and Velda James; wife, JoAnn James; two brothers, Hubert "QBall" James and Emmitt James Jr.; two sisters, Shirley Richard and Lois Bourque.

He is survived by his children, Debra (Steven) Hawkins, Brenda (Michael) Price, and Clint (Cindy) James; sister, Sadie Mire; grandchildren, Brant Villenurue, Courtney Price, Buddy Hawkins, Stephanie Springer, Clint James Jr., and Jaci Adams; and numerous great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers, Brant Villenurue, Clint James Jr., Buddy Hawkins, Tracy James, Dean Smith, and Bart Smith; Jimmy Smith will be serving as an honorary pallbearer. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9AM-10:45AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, LA at 11AM. Burial will follow.
