Gerry Wayne Templet passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the age of 83. She was a native and resident of Gonzales, LA. She is survived by her children, Wendy Robinson (Ronnie) and Brent Templet (Shelia); sisters, Betty Gayle and Bonnie Buratt (Leycester); grandchildren, Joshua Robinson (Bethany), Hannah Rea (Alex), Abigail Robinson, Moriah Robinson, Jared Templet (Callie), and Jaci Templet; great grandchildren, Clark Robinson, Lane Robinson, Eleanore and Eloise Robinson, Carter Rea, Addison Rea, Harrison Templet, Baby Templet (due in June).
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald J. Templet; parents, Bernie and Adele Hodgeson; brothers, Bernie Lee Hodgeson and Carroll Ray Hodgeson; and sister, Kathie Jackson.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Gonzales, 1217 S. Burnside Ave. Gonzales, LA 70737, at 9:00 a.m. to be followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery, 604 E. Hwy 30 Gonzales, LA.
