Glenda Marie Holton

Glenda Marie Holton, of Prairieville, affectionately known by her loved ones as "Nana", passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the age of 62. Longtime employee of the U.S. Postal Service, she dedicated her life to her family, friends, and beloved pets. She enjoyed traveling, ceramics, sewing, bingo, card games, and more than anything, loved spending her time with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She had a wicked sense of humor, was always unapologetically herself, and was so proud of the beautiful family she created. She is survived by her mother, Nell Cannon Holton; brothers Donald Holton and David Holton and sister-in-law Beth Holton; daughters Shayna and Wendy; son-in-law Matthew; grandchildren Logan, Chase, and Olivia; and numerous nieces and nephews including Jerimy, Austin, Clayton, Rayna, Daylon, Preslynn, and Kameron. She is preceded in death by father Gwin Holton and longtime partner Roger Holder. A private memorial will be held for close family and friends.
