A resident of Prairieville, he passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 70, a retiree of Honeywell, and a native of Portland, Maine. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon Lowell; five children and six grandchildren: daughters, Jennifer Blais and husband Donald, Julie Burns and husband Jeremy; sons, David Lowell and wife Shana, Keith Lowell and wife Anna, Jason Lowell and wife Danna; and grandchildren, Ethan Blais, Grayson Blais, Brady Burns, Brooke Burns, Blair Burns and Brennan Lowell. A hard worker all his life, he loved spending his retirement days with family and enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow. He was a unique person, whom everyone enjoyed being around. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in the hearts and prayers of everyone whose lives he touched. His family will forever treasure the time they had with him.
