Harvey Clement Templet

Harvey Clement Templet passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025 at the age of 86. He was a native of White Castle and a longtime resident of Gonzales.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 65 years, Audrey Bourque Templet; his children, Donna Brignac (Gordon Ray), Mike Templet (Jill), Melissa Burns (Steve)and Suzette Richardson; his grandchildren, Ace Templet (Lacy), Blaire Melancon (Garett), Jade Templet, Taylor Watkins (Lane), Dex Templet, Brandon Brignac, Joe Richardson and Ani Richardson; his great-grandchildren, Jaxon Templet, Lennon Templet, Laynie Melancon, Mollie Melancon, Audrie Melancon, Kaylee Templet, Braden Templet and Layton Templet. He is also survived by his siblings, Feltus Templet (Linda), Russell Templet (Charlotte), Terry Templet (Charlene) and Clement Templet Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Harvey has now gone to join those who passed before him; his parents, Clement Templet Sr. and Mable Daigle Templet and his siblings, Donald Templet and Marilyn Militello. Harvey was a hardworking man and a family man. He was the proud owner of TMC Contractors for many years.His true love was being outdoors, especially while training his rabbit dogs and taking them on hunts. In his pastime he enjoyed going fishing and tending to the garden. But above all he loved to spend time with family and friends having gatherings at the house. He will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Family and friend are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N. Burnside Ave. Gonzales, LA 70737. The visitation will begin at 8:30AM with Mass to start at 11:000AM. Harvey will be laid to rest following Mass at Hope Haven Garden of Memory in Gonzales, La .
