Helen Theresa Fairchild, age 85 died on Tuesday April 23, 2013 in Gonzales, LA. She was a native and a resident of Gonzales, LA and a retired school bus driver with the Ascension Parish School Board. She is survived by 1 daughter- Sherian Wiles of Gonzales, LA ,1 brother- Huey Lambert of Gonzales, LA, 2 grandchildren- Michael Wiles and spouse Staci of Central, LA, and Aimee Wiles of Chicago, IL, 3 great grandchildren- Brady, Bryce and Abigail Wiles. She was preceded in death by her husband- George D. Fairchild Jr., Parents- Rosamond Charles Lambert Sr. and Euranie Bercegeay Lambert, 2 sisters- Irene Richey and Marie Lambert, 3 brothers- R.C. Lambert Jr., Joe Lambert and Louis Lambert. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Fairchild, Glenn Lambert, James and Trey Richey, Todd Ricketts and Michael Wiles. She was a former member of St. Mark Catholic Church Choir and a member of the Gonzales Bowlettes. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, LA on Thursday April 25, 2013 from 5 pm until 9 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday April 26, 2013 at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales, LA from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm celebrated by Rev. Ruben Reynolds.
