Henry Thompson Delaune

A native of Prairieville and resident of French Settlement, he passed away on March 7, 2013. He was 94 years old. Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement on Saturday, March 9 from 8 A.M. until religious services at 10 A.M. The celebration of life will be given by Deacon Jimmy Little. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his children Ronald Delaune, Delmas Delaune and wife Sharon ; Janice Eastridge and husband David; brothers Ray Delaune and wife Mary, Benjamin F. and wife Nell ; sisters LilyBell Hernandez and Florence Delaune; grandchildren Darla Griffin, Sheldon Delaune, Darya Courville, Robin Delaune, Tonia Delaune, Sonia Cross, David Eastridge Jr, and Erica Haselden: also numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Good friends William Brown and Curtis Lambert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Lambert Delaune; parents, Henry "Tom" and Esther Perdue Delaune; brothers Wilson Delaune, Samuel Leonard Delaune, Mc Bernie Delaune, a sister Miriam Graves and daughter- in- law Carole Delaune.
