Henry "Butch" Howard Mitchell

He will be remembered for his love of hunting and fishing. Butch loved the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents, Ida and Curtis Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife Susan Mitchell; daughter, Amanda Hedden (Eddie); sons, Shawn Mitchell and Kevin Mitchell; sisters, Janice Chaffin (Rocky) and Ellen Mitchell; brother, Tommy Sparks (Debra); grandchildren, Alexys, David, Alivia, Alyssa Andrade; Shawn, Savannah, Shyanne Mitchell and Abigayle Mitchell.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Ourso Funeral Home from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The visitation will resume at Ourso Funeral Home on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am followed by a Funeral service at 11:00. The burial will immediately follow at Hope Haven in Gonzales.
