Lois. Been thinking of you and the family during our sad loss. Huey was a special person, always a smile and you were sure to get a big hug whenever you could. On three different occasions I got those hugs when he was touring through Colorado. Then he called when he came through a few years later. He was traveling with Mark and Jesse. Lois, you and the kids were his world. My how much he'll be missed by all. He is now looking down through the stars at us . Rest in peace sweet cousin Huey.

A loving cousin who was very dear to me. He always took the time to visit me when the bus he was driving was passing through Tampa, Florida when I was in school there or at home in Eureka Springs, AR when he drove for Tab Benoit I never saw Huey that he did not have a big big smile on his face and a big hug for me. I have not been in Louisiana for the last 34 years but will never forget all the times I spent with him as a child. Grandma Roby made sure we visited often. Love you Huey and will see you again someday, Carol Jean

Sitting here thinking of our child hood. How we played so hard. How we changed diapers and gave Marilyn and Donna their bottles. How we would put them to sleep. Great memories Even when you talked me into letting you put hot melting tire rubber on my leg and I ended up with blood poison I still loved you. You was my older brother. The person I looked up to as a kid.
Then we grew older and those summers came to an end. We went our own ways. It was always a pleasure to see you. You could light up a room.
My heart goes out to your family. Prayers for all. Our entire family took a heart breaking loss. Love you
So fly high Huey P. Rest In Peace.

I'm going to miss you so much!! I remember our family reunions we had and you let all the cousins play on your tour bus that you drove many musicians around in. We would play hide in seek in. To me you will always be Uncle Huey P "with the bus". My heart aches as I write this, feels like I've lost a second grandfather😓, until we meet again in heaven, tell Grandpa Thairon we love and miss him as much as you! Love you to the moon and back😘

He was always hard working and also loved to play around on his equipment. Even though he would accidently run into mawmaw's brand new house, it was ok because he could fix it if it was broken. He also had the extra time for his grandkids and knew how to have to fun. He may have been in his 70's, but that stubborn old man was young at heart. You will be loved and missed very much.

My sweet nephew will always have a special place in my heart. Everytime he would come through town in his Greyhound Bus he would stop and give me a hug. I was only fifteen years old when he was born and we shared a lot of special times. I will surely miss him until we meet again.

Mike; I'm sure going to miss talking to you everyday. You will be missed "young man."

DeDe; We have had some good days in the past. I'll miss you very much. One day I'll meet you in heaven.

Kali; I'm going to miss you Uncle Huey. I'm not so little anymore, like you probably remember. I remember every time we had a get together at Mawmaw Chadwick's you would always pick me up. And always told everyone I was your "girlfriend." You will be missed greatly, I love you.

Cousin Huey will be missed by so many! My mom loved and adored "Huey P" as she called him so I know she was waiting with open arms for him at the golden gates. Our family sends love and prayers to all those loved ones who will forever miss Cousin Huey. He had a way to make everyone feel so special. Our lives are all stories and his was definitely one worth reading.

My prayers go out to this very special family. My cousin Huey was like a big brother to me. He was loved by everyone in the family and had a great big heart. His smile would light up a room when he was around. He will be missed by so many loved ones. He was just that very special person that not many people have the pleasure of having in a family. Fly High sweet cousin.
