Mae Mae was so much more than my aunt—she was one of my very best friends and one of the greatest role models in my life. She embodied love, forgiveness, kindness, and grace, and her sweet giggle was contagious. She was always there with a listening ear, words of encouragement, and unwavering love for her family. She played a significant role in shaping my relationship with Jesus Christ, and her faithful example will remain one of the greatest gifts she ever gave me. I will forever cherish her memory and hold her close in my heart. I love you, Mae Mae, and I will miss you dearly.

Izzy was my big sister and was always there for me. She was a great encouragement in my life. I could talk to her about anything. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for me. She would often jokingly tell me hey your my baby sister. She was my sister and my friend. I will and do miss her greatly. Izzy was loved and adored by many. She was a sweetheart. I thank God for Izzy's life and that she was my sister. I will  thank you Lord always for who Izzy was in my life!

Ismay was the one of the most Christian, genuine friends I ever had. Thanks Eliska for introducing her to me many years ago when we were working in downtown New Orleans.  Then later we worshipped  in the same church. We have such happy memories of  the times we shared, etc.  She is greatly missed, but I know we’ll meet again in our heavenly home.

In Loving Memory of my Mae Mae

Some of the sweetest memories of my childhood are wrapped up in sleepovers with Mae Mae. I’ll always hold those nights close. 

She was the sweetest soul, and the world feels quieter without her in it. But I know her gentleness and love will live on in everyone lucky enough to have known her.

I will miss her deeply.

Ismay was the nicest, most wonderful aunt a kid could ever have.  She was always there to take us places, put on makeup, sing, buy us treats,  laugh and pray together.  I remember going with her to church when she taught  sunday school.  The kids adored her as much as I did.  Ismay was known to her nieces and nephews as Mae Mae. She was always there to listen to our woes and encourage us the whole way.  There was nothing she wouldn't do for her sisters and brother. I never heard her speak a cross word about anyone, what a woman!  I will forever cherish all of the memories we made, after all, she never left home without her camera, so we have loads of pictures to remember the good times.  I am blessed to have had  the honor and privilege  to care for Ismay in my home over the last year. She was and always will be the greatest Mae Mae of all times. I love you Mae Mae, you are finally home with our Saviour.

I’m am so sorry to learn about the loss of my school friend Ismay. My heart breaks for you and your family. She was the sweetest person ever!!!  I so enjoyed us meeting once again long after our school days. She will be missed and I pray she is now happy and enjoying her heavenly family and Jesus our Lord and Savior 🙏💐
