James “Jimmy” Millet of Gonzales, LA, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 86 years old. Jimmy was the owner and operator of the Music Inc. for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Gertie Braud Millet; daughter, Kay Millet; sons, Steve Millet (Tina) and Patrick Millet (Norman); grandchildren, Hannah Millet and Jude White and great-grandson, Remi Millet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce Millet Sr. and Eunice Lanoux Millet, and his brother, Leonce Millet Jr. Services for Jimmy will be on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church 1022 N. Burnside Ave, Gonzales, La. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until mass of Christian burial at 11:30 am. Burial will be at Hope Haven Garden of Memory 604 E. Hwy 30, Gonzales, La.
