

"As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I'll fear no evil." A talented artist and loving husband, brother, nephew and friend, Jay went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2016 at his residence. He was 41 years old, and a native and resident of Sorrento. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Stormly Hilliard; his daughter, Carter Hilliard; an aunt, whom was more like a mother to him, Sue Melancon; mother in law, Conny Bager; uncle, Kevin Benton; sister, Jessica Benton and spouse Joshua Dibble; sister in law, Betina Slataper and husband Richard; sister in law Jeanne Beerman and husband Ben Beerman; three brothers: Jody Hilliard, Bruce Lee Hilliard Jr. and spouse Cynthia Hano, and John Webb; two nieces: Ana and Alexandra Slataper: two nephews; Ian Bryce Meyer-Webb and Collin Palisi; two special family friends, Bill and Nelda Strait. He is also survived by his three fur babies: Hazel, Otis, and Gibbs. Jay is preceded in death by both his parents, Bonnie Webb and Bruce Hilliard Sr; father in law John Krolle Stormly, and Jay's beloved companion and best friend, Giotto. He is also preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and a host of aunts and uncles. As per Jason's wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
