Karen, Louis, Andre - This certainly makes me very sad.   Pierre was a great friend.   We had a special bond we created at LSU that has lasted.   I think about him often.

We are so sad that he past away. We have lost contact but we often think of you and miss you all. I will always remember that he gave us the chance to work in Louisiana in 1984 and know all his family. We hope to see you again and kiss you all !

Dad was the strongest man I have ever known.  I can only hope to be as great as him one day.  Whenever someone tells me "you're just like your father", I am proud in knowing there is no other person I'd rather be like; it truly is the greatest compliment in the world.  You will be greatly missed, and there are so many family, friends, and co-workers that will lose out on your great wisdom for years to come.  I love you, Pop!!

Pierre was a great motivator and encourager. Upon deciding to further my education and needing his (director's) approval, I recall him sharing how his spouse urged him to get his degree for she "was not going to eat beans and rice" the rest of her life. To Mrs. Bouffard, your husband was transparent and shared with me how grateful he was that you insisted, motivated, and encouraged him in furthering his education; and the successful end results after earning his degree. I hope this encourages you as it did me when he shared with me. You can rest assure, Pierre is resting in the arms of Jesus - my prayers and condolences are extended

Pierre was the kindest and most considerate man I have known. Always ready to lend a hand in whatever needed to be done. I was honored to have known him. I know you are resting in God's hands friend.

Pierre you will be sorely missed. You were a great boss, great sounding board and most of all a great friend. I am praying that you will have time to watch over us at least when you are not watching the LSU game. I feel blessed to have had you in my life rest well my friend.
