Jeanette P Cannon

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. She was 80 and a resident of St. Amant. Visiting will be at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Lake on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, officiated by Fr. Jon Koehler. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, St. Amant. She is survived by her daughters, Danette Causin, Paulette Cannon, Charlotte Templet and husband, Russell, Yevette Triche and husband, Michael and Antoinette Hardy; son, Richard Whisler; 14 grandchildren, John Lambert, Candace Silva, John Whisler, Rachel Doyle, Heather Cannon, Ray Cannon, Matthew Cannon, Amanda Lambert, Justin Templet, Zachary Townley, KC Townley, Nicole Hardy, Kayla Hardy, and Tyler Hardy; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olis Cannon; son, Charles Whisler; granddaughter, Jessica Templet; and her parents, Sylvanie and Felicie Rouyea Poirrier. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Justin, John Paul, Tyler, Zach, KC, Ray, Matthew and John Michael. She served at Holy Rosary as a Eucharistic Minister and loved quilting and crocheting.
