Jeremy Michael Klibert entered into the warmth and comforting embrace of his Lord and Savior on April 3, 2026. Jeremy was a loving husband, father, brother, and son who left a lasting impression and smiling memories for everyone he met. A resident of Prairieville, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Jeffrey “Bodean” Klibert. He is survived by the loves of his life, his wife, Liz, son, Jackson and Burreaux (family dog). He is also survived by his Maw Maw Rose, his mother, Carolyn; brother, Shawn & wife, Natalie; sister, Jenny March & husband, Justin. Jeremy was a centerpiece to a large and loving family that included his in-laws, Jimmy & Kay Stelly; brothers and sisters-in-law-: Chris & Lindsey Stelly and Josh & Ann Kleinpeter. Numerous nieces and nephews: Logan & Ava Klibert, Teegan March, Caleb, Landry, Andrew & Mary Kleinpeter, Alexander & Claire Stelly and Isabella & Sophia Stelly. Jeremy was a proud Paran to Brayden Bessinger & Ava Klibert. He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and too many friends to name, of whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his work family as a partner with Faulk & Winkler in Baton Rouge.
An avid sports and music fan, you would often find Jeremy cheering on his beloved LSU Tigers on the gridiron or diamond as well as watching the New Orleans Saints from his seat in the 'Dome. In addition, every chance he got, Jeremy and Liz loved travelling and oftentimes, if they weren't sipping cocktails on the beaches of Mexico or tasting wines throughout California Wine Country, they were rocking out to their favorite bands at one of the many music festivals held throughout the year. Regardless of where their travels took them, there was no place like home for Jeremy and Liz, especially as they could often be found simply laughing with their family in Jeremy's hometown of Garyville grilling steaks, fighting for a place in the supper line or the crawfish table in Grosse Tete, or taking many a "stay-cation" in their fourth home of New Orleans where the oysters tasted the best. Throughout everything, Jeremy remained steadfast in his love & dedication for his wife and his son, Jackson. No matter what was happening in the world, Jeremy could always be found cheering Jackson no matter the activity - football, t-ball, music etc. When Jackson picked up the trombone a few years ago, his father was so proud that he gave him the moniker "Trombone Jackson". In recent years, anyone watching could see how proud Jeremy was and how close he was with his son. He loved Jackson so very much. Of course, there is so much more about Jeremy that words will never be able to replace. There is sadness in the realization that Jeremy is no longer confined to walk this Earth; however, there is joy and comfort in the fact that he will be watching over everyone in eternal peace, rest and happiness. Simply put, he will be missed by all he came in contact with.
