Jerrie Lynn Demars Foret passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in her home, at the age of 64. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of French Settlement, LA. Jerrie enjoyed working in her flower beds, travelling, collecting cook books, being with friends and family, and the love of Buddy B. She is survived by her loving husband, Whitney Foret; step-sons, Wayne Foret (Nicole) and Chad Foret (Charlotte); step-grandchildren, Kandie Wilson, Hailey Morvant (Andy), Cody Foret (Brittany), and Wayne Foret, Jr.; step-great grandchildren, Annabelle, Saphira, and one on the way, Skylar; and brother, Gary Demars (Cheryl). She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse “Mike” Demars and Rosa Mae Lobell Demars; and Buddy B. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA 70737 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in French Settlement, LA from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial of Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Everett Besch, Clay Schexnayder, Chuck Demars, Jesse Demars, Wayne Foret, and Chad Foret. Honorary pallbearers include Brian Lobell, Wayne Foret, Jr., and Cody Foret. The Foret family would like to thank The Hospice of Baton Rouge, Dr. Randall Poche and Christopher McCanless, as well as all of their friends and family for their help and prayers.
