A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Prairieville, Jesse passed away on his birthday, June 8, 2012 after a long battle with life. He died at his parent’s home with many of his family by his side. Jesse loved animals of all kinds and often rescued strays including birds, cats, dogs and others. His two favorite dogs were on his bed when he died. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents Harry C. and Mary Ann Stafford, four brothers and two sisters and their spouses: Matt and Libby Stafford, Catherine and Doug Lacey, Benny Stafford, Amy and Hal Yarbrough, John and Mandy Stafford, Tom and Catanya Stafford and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville. Visitation starts at 9:30AM with Mass at 11:00AM.
