Joel Marie Delatte

A life long resident of St. Amant, La. passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2012 in Baton Rouge, La. at the age of 73. She was a retired supervisor with Blue Runner Beans with 37 yrs. of service. Visitation will begin on Thursday March 1,2012 at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La. from 5 pm until 9pm. Visitation will resume on Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, La. from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am conducted by Rev. Jon Koehler. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery mausoleum. She is survived by her husband Ivy Delatte of St. Amant, La., 2 daughters and sons–in-law, Collette and Mark Bourgeois of St. Amant, La. and Cindy and Lonnie Duplessis of St. Amant, La., 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Nana Delatte of St. Amant, La., Brad and Mary Delatte of Geismar, La., Chris and Susette Delatte of Lake, La., and Ted and Mindy Delatte of Prairieville, La. 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Elsie and Dewey Fredric Sr. of St. Amant, La., Pauline and Andre Bercegeay Sr. of St. Amant, La., Anna Faye and Arthur Shepheard of St. Amant, La., 1 brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Delores Babin of St. Amant, La. Also survived by grandchildren and their spouses-Jason and Mia Duplessis, Jonathan Delatte and fiancée Ashly Pitre, Austin Harris, Niki and Derek Melancon, Kayla and Randy Oubre Sr., Trisha and Chad Louque, Sarah Delatte, Tessa and Todd Tripp and Jennie Delatte. Greatgrandchildren Brady and Connor Duplessis, Megan Melancon, Caden Louque, Randy Oubre Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents FelicienJoseph "Boy" and Beulah Ann Babin, and 1 Grandson Jodie Paul Duplessis.
