He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Dixon Abbott; parents, John and Nancy Abbott; siblings, Nick Abbott (Janeane), Carmen Abbott and Ryan Dove; and nieces and nephews, Lily, Luke, Harper, and Noah. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who loved him deeply and will miss him dearly.
Alex loved LSU football, professional wrestling, and parties with his Abbott and Dixon families.
Alex will be remembered for being a hard worker, doting husband, and for being a joy to be around by everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 10, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with Service to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will take place immediately afterwards at Port Vincent Community Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the Port Vincent Community Center.
