Joseph Bently Anderson

Joseph “Bently” Anderson, age 71, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. He was a native of Gonzales and resident of St. Gabriel. Joseph is survived by his partner in life, Frances Aughey of Geismar, LA; daughters, Regina Aughey Harp and husband, Tim Harp, Sr. of Prairieville, LA and Sabrina Aughey of Atlanta; grandchildren, Tim Harp, Jr., Frances Dru Harp, Cole Daniel Harp, Tyler Joseph Harp, Joelle Nicholson, Slayton Aughey Fokas; great-grandchild, Tim Harp III; sisters, Mary Eva Rouyea of St. Amant, LA and Beulah Anderson Bourque of Gonzales, LA; brothers, G.W. Anderson of Gonzales, LA, Otis Anderson of Prairieville, LA, David Anderson of Brusly, LA; Bently is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nancy Richardson Anderson; sisters, Shirley Anderson LeBlanc and Judy Anderson Brignac. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church from 9:00 am until Scripture Service at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at St. Gabriel Catholic Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Harp, Jr., Cole Harp, Tyler Harp, Brandon Golson, Kevin Saia, Sean Osborne, Brendan Wilson, Garret Cognevich, and Chance Morris.
