

Joy shared a devoted life with her husband of 65 years, Doval “Doby” Dixon Jr. Together they raised four children- Donna (Nathan) White, John (Danielle) Dixon, Dina (Dwayne) Nunez, and Jason (Mary) Dixon. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren- Erin (Corey) LaLonde, Ryan (Katie) Ingram, Sarah (Michael) Williams, Clint White, Blair (Jared) Hudson, Randi (Thomas) Mathews, Daniel Dixon, Aubrey Barrett, Blake Nunez, Brandon Barrett, Jason Dixon Jr., Bella Dixon and great grandchildren Blaise, Aiden, Hayes, Karmen, Caleb, Collyns, Leni, Hollis, Molly, Max, Hunt, and Callen. She is also survived by her two brothers, Gerry Villavaso and Eric Villavaso (Cindy) and her longtime caregiver, Mrs. Leona.
As a devoted and hands-on mom and Mimi, Joy poured herself into her children’s lives and was the heart behind “Mimi’s Preschool”. She was also the proud sister to four older brothers. Joy was known for her extraordinary talent as a professional wedding cake baker. She had a gift for nurturing beauty, and her rose garden was no exception. Her flowers were a labor of love and a reflection of her patient care.
Joy is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Anita Villavaso, her mother- and father-in-law, Doval Sr. and Margaret Dixon, her brothers, Al and “Bucky” Villavaso and her great- grandchildren, Grace and Alex Lalonde.
