

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Joyce Agnes Himel Capone “Nannie/Maw Joyce” on Monday, March 6, 2017, 11:00 am, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales starting at 6:00 pm and continuing until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Monday morning at St. Anthony Church starting at 9:00 am and continuing until Mass begins at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Prairieville Community Cemetery. Mrs. Capone passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the age of 80. She loved playing cards, watching TV, LSU sports including basketball and football, playing dominos, spending time with her family on weekends and her trips to North Carolina. Mrs. Capone served as Commissioner in Charge of Elections for precinct 39. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Capone Lanoux and husband Chad; son, David Capone and significant other Holly “Bunny” Hebert and Jake & Dan Hebert; grandchildren, Lea Clouatre and husband Bruce, Jeremy Lanoux; great-grandchildren, Brody & Logan Clouatre and special, double 1st cousins, Daisy Himel Colaianni, Sue Himel Teel and Carolyn Thompson LaMotte.
