Judy Curry McElroy, 76, passed away March 16, 2017 at The Crossing Hospice facility in Baton Rouge. She was born in Lubbock, TX to Otto and Billie Jean Curry and resided in Gonzales. Judy enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Survivors include her daughter Sandy Poche and husband Jeff; sons David McElroy and Chasity and Jeff McElroy; sisters Shirley Landrum and Warren and Kay Galloway; 6 grandchildren Danny Poche and Kaille, Matthew Poche and Tiffany, Alan Poche and Katie, Quinn McElroy, Cole McElroy and Kevin McElroy; 5 great grandchildren Madison, Natalie, Ethan, Keely and Alivia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and husband Sherman McElroy. A Celebration of Life is scheduled at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 5PM – 9PM.
