Kent Earlington Munson Sr.

A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Head of Island passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 5:30 am in Baton Rouge at the age of 65. He was a general contractor and owner of Kent's Flooring and Formica. There will be a memorial gathering at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. He is survived by his wife Pam Bovia Munson of Head of Island, 1 daughter: Kimberly Ann Munson of Baton Rouge, 2 sons & 2 daughters in law: Kent Munson, Jr. & wife Jenny of Prairieville and Kendyl Munson & wife Amanda of Walker, 1 sister: Melanie "Peaches" Burtiss of Baton Rouge, 9 grandchildren: Kaleb Clark, Katey Shows, Kyle Munson, Hannah Shows, Maci Munson, Kole Munson, Jace Munson, Karson Munson & Owen Munson. He was preceded in death by his parents Nye H. & Jean Cooper Munson. Keno loved being outdoors spending time with his family and grandchildren fishing, hunting & being at his camp on Blind River.
