

Kevin D. Broussard, 67, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on December 23, 2024. He was born in Alexandria LA where he attended Holy Savior Menard High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and an MBA from Louisiana State University.
Kevin proudly served with the United States Air Force for 15 years in healthcare administration, with assignments in the United States and Germany. He worked 7 more years for the Department of Defense in the Civil Service and as a private contractor, including a position at the Pentagon. After a short time in the private sector, he worked for the State of Louisiana at various positions in healthcare administration and budget analysis.
Kevin had a love for dancing and any time he could get on the dance floor would put a smile on his face. In particular he had a passion for Ballroom Dancing and through this activity met many life-long friends. He attended many balls in the Washington, D.C. area including a Presidential Inaugural Ball. His second love was cooking and hosting dinner parties. He was always the impeccable host. Kevin was a supporter of The Music Club of Baton Rouge.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus C. Broussard and Camille Blouin Broussard. He is survived by his brother, Keith Broussard, wife of Keith, Michelle, and their children, Gene Broussard, Kyle Broussard, and Jenny Laflin.
Visitation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville LA on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. and interment in the Prairieville Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kevin’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
