A native of Kansas and resident of St. Amant, he died on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center on Bluebonnet. He was 47, an avid outdoorsman, and a diehard Kansas Jayhawks fan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales beginning at 10 am with funeral services to be held at 11 am. He is survived by his loving wife of eleven years, Kimberly R. Wilson; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Jason Cathcard; two sons, Michael Wilson and Jeremiah Ruiz; granddaughter, Alexis Cathcard; two sisters; and two brothers.
