Landon Wayne Schexnayder, age 30, and a longtime resident of Livingston La. was unexpectedly taken from our lives on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on November 27, 1991 in Baton Rouge, La to Darren Wayne and Norma Jean Schexnayder. Landon graduated in 2010 from French Settlement High School. He continued his education at Southeastern Louisiana College where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Drafting. He worked for DSLD as a Lead Drafter and was the owner of Distinctive Designs. To know Landon was to understand two things his love for his work and upmost love for his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of five and half years, Karly Whitehead Schexnayder; son and daughter, Lane William and Ella Renee' Schexnayder; parents; brother, Robbie Layne Schexnayder; father and mother-in-law, Randall Edward and Patty Roberts Whitehead; paternal grandmother, Marguerite Dedon; paternal grandparents David and Doris Schexnayder along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Muriel and Hazel Watts. Visitation will be on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 5 pm to 8 pm and will resume on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 9 am with service at 11 am. at Colyell Baptist Church 19524 Hwy 42, Livingston, La. Landon will be laid to rest in the Muriel Watts Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chad Harrell, Brent Harrell, and Brady Harrell, Michael Hebert and Peyton Hebert, and Drake Sullivan.
