Licia Kay Aydell

Licia Kay Aydell, age 48, of Gonzales, Louisiana, passed away on August 23, 2026. She was born on November 28, 1977, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Licia attended college and dedicated much of her working life to the healthcare field, where she worked as a Customer Service Representative.

Licia is survived by her loving mother, Lisa Lessard Aydell; her brother Landon Dauzat; Nephew Khai Dauzat; along with numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Lance Aydell; and her grandparents, Stanley and Angie Lessard.

Licia will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends and for the special place she held in the lives of those closest to her. Her memory will continue to live on through the many people whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Licia, share treasured memories, and celebrate her life. A memorial gathering will be held at The Lessards home, 13201 Hwy 431, St. Amant, Louisiana 70774, on September 6th, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
